Non=destructive and non-invasive ultrasonic measurement of temp. inside e.g. liver or kidney - applying pulse-contg. acoustic waveform at spaced times and comparing image echo signals e.g. by subtraction
摘要
An acoustic waveform contg. at least one pulse is applied to an object (B) at a first time so that it is incident on the region under investigation. The echo signal resulting from reflection by this region is received and stored. An identical waveform is applied at a second time. The echo signals for both times are compared, esp. by forming differences and the result of the comparison is associated with a temp. change in the region under investigation (ROI). USE/ADVANTAGE - Non-destructive, non-invasive measurement inside living objects or other media eg steel or aluminium metal is achieved.
