An angular swing bar (2) is swivel mounted on the frame of the mower as an intermediate link between an eccentric drive and the blade entrainment member (8) by a metal rubber bush (6) and can be connected for articulated movement with the entrainment member by the bush. The metal rubber bush requires no lubrication and dampens vibrations. The entrainment member can be guided by a guide pin (10) pushed into a tube (9) and can be held by a retaining pin (11) for the cutter bar support (22) in a cutter bar holder (20). The axis determining the rotary point of the angular bar is set asymmetrical relative to the mower cover (31) so that the latter can be kept narrow.
