The vehicle bodywork (1) in its front area has a 6 cylinder V-formation engine (4) which transmits its drive torque via an automatic gearbox (5) and a differential (6) via a left drive shaft (7a) to a left front drive wheel (2a) and via a right drive shaft (7b) to a right front drive wheel (2b). The rear wheels (3a,3b) are not driven. The vehicle bodywork is provided with a regulating system (8) which controls the injection of fuel and the ignition timing for the engine (4) and the regulation of engine power in order to bring the skid value of the vehicle bodywork to a theoretical value. The regulating system (8) incorporates an engine regulating part for fuel injection and the ignition timing, together with a traction regulating part. USE/ADVANTAGE - To regulate engine drive output when skid occurs on driven wheels in a 6 cylinder V engined vehicle.
