Establishing connection in telephone exchange - applying control programme to select required subscriber within subscriber group connected to common exchange terminal

The connection procedure uses a control (CC,LTUC1,PBC11,CS) coupled to the common terminal for a group of telephone subscribers (T21...T2x) allowing a connection to one of the latter to be established, in dependence on the call number provided by the calling subscriber. The control uses a control programme allowing the call number to be evaluated to extract additional information identifying which of the telephone subscribers coupled to the common terminal, identified by the call number, is required. The additional information may be provided by an additional number, or by evaluating a speech sample provided by the calling subscriber. ADVANTAGE - Allows call forwarding for subscribers using different languages.
