FUEL INJECTION DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PURPOSE: To provide a low cost fuel injection arrangement capable of starting an internal combustion engine even without fuel injection action of an injection pump. CONSTITUTION: A bypass line 1 conducts fuel and bypasses an injection pump 11. A switchable flow adjusting valve 3 is mounted in the bypass line. The bypass line opens into an intake duct E conducting combustion air to an engine 2. Thus, fuel is directly drawn into combustion air by suction on the basis of the negative pressure prevailing in the intake duct E. As a result, ignitable mixture is produced and the engine can be started even without fuel injection action of an injection pump 11.
