The device is arranged on the outlet (3) from an immersible pump (1) and the outlet pipe (6) from a pumping station contg. the pump. It comprises a cylindrical or weakly conical part provided with a longitudinal slot and a collar fixed to the cylindrical component one end and to the conical part large end. The fastening, e.g. by welding or soldering, is located along only one part of the cylindrical and conical part periphery. - The cylindrical and conical parts along their complete axial extent can be pressed together in a sprung fashion to a smaller dia. for ease of insertion through the one flange until the collar locates against this flange. The extent of pressing together is limited by the width of the gap. |
