PURPOSE: To prevent a damage of a magnetizable particles contained in a magnetic layer by a metal layer contained in a layer having an optical diffraction effect and arranged on the magnetic layer carried by the document in a valued document such as, for example, paper money, a credit card, an admission ticket, a ticket or the like. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic layer 4 is first provided on a plastic card 1, and then a barrier layer 9 is provided by printing. Then, a metal layer 8 is provided on the layer 9 by vapor depositing, and then a secret protective layer 6 having an optical diffraction effect is attached by printing. The layer 9 prevents an influence of a magnetic pigment existing in the layer 4 to the layer 8. |
