PURPOSE:To give confirmation to the editing function of the text by adversely converting the display data from the input unit into the same code system as the circuit text to produce the artificial circuit text and then giving the checking whether the display contents of the artificial text coincides with the keyboard input. CONSTITUTION:For the test procedure of the editing function, the character code is supplied to screen memory 6 and then displayed on the CRT screen. Then the character codes displayed on CRT8 are read out in sequence and with the amount equivalent to two characters set into one out of memory 6 after giving the interruption command. The editing process is carried out based on the character code conversion table, and then the character code is converted into the code of the ABCDik16-notation and 1-byte to be stored into circuit buffer register 5. Then the addresses are changed for memory 6 and register 5, and the codes equivalent to two characters are converted and stored. When self-test module 5 calls editing module P6, the artificial circuit text is read out and then written into memory 6 after editing. If the editing function is normal, the display same as the input character is secured on the screen of CRT8. |
