POLYESTER DECORATIVE BOARD HAVING GLOSS OF NATURAL WOOD AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To reproduce the irregularities and gloss of the grain of natural wood excellently by forming a grain printed pattern and a fine embossed irregular pattern consisting of the parallel curves of waveform curves having the width of recessed and projecting sections of 1-100mum onto one surface except the uppermost layer of a polyester resin layer composed of two layers or more. CONSTITUTION:Concealed paper 2, on which a pattern is printed through gravure printing, etc., is laminated onto a substrate 1 by using adhesives 3, and the upper section of the concealed paper 2 is coated and impregnated with a polyester resin liquid and the resin liquid is cured and a polyester resin layer 4 is formed. A grain pattern 5 is printed onto the resin layer of a releasable support 7 through a gravure method, and a fine embossed irregular pattern 6 consisting of the parallel curve groups of the waveform curves having the width of 1-100mum of recessed and projecting sections is formed onto a printed surface. A shaped film for transfer is superposed onto the polyester resin layer 4 of concealed paper 2, and heated and pressed, the releasable support 7 is peeled, and the grain pattern 5 and the fine embossed irregular pattern 6 are transferred onto the first resin layer 4. The upper section of the resin layer 4 is coated with a polyester resin, and molded integrally, thus forming a second resin layer 8.
