<p>PURPOSE: To form a tear only by merely pulling a tab by providing a pawl hooking or tab-shaped tearing start part turned in the direction parallel to the direction right-angled to an extrusion direction to a shrinkable thermoplastic film formed by the co-extrusion molding of polyolefin and an ionic copolymer. CONSTITUTION: An H-shaped slit is formed of two mutually almost parallel straight lines 6, 7 and the horizontal line 3 connecting them. Two straight lines 6, 7 are almost parallel to the tearing direction shown by an arrow 2 right- angled to the extrusion direction of a shrinkable thermoplastic film 1 formed by the co-extrusion molding of polyolefin and an ionic copolymer. Three slit lines 6, 7, 8 permit the insertion of the pawl piercing through a reinforcing label 3 and the film 1 into the central part 9 of the label 3 and, when on of tabs 4, 5 is picked and pulled toward the end part near to the label 3 in the direction shown by an arrow 2, the extension parts 6c, 7c of the slit lines 6, 7 begin to tear. When the slit lines 6, 7 exceed a label end edge part 3c, tearing advances along tearing lines 6d, 7d without generating resistance.</p> |
