The invention relates to a device for the temporary storage of disc-like sound recording media, such as compact discs (CDs), which storage device is designed as an album, of which the pages, which are made from plastic, are profiled at least in such a way that they form at least one hollow holding compartment for a CD, with fixing means for securing a CD centrally in the said compartment, as seen in the vertical direction.
