METHOD FOR IMMOBILIZING MICROBE IN BIOLOGICAL DRAINAGE TREATMENT

PURPOSE:To provide a method for immobilizing microbes capable of surely immobilizing microbes positively while maintaining a treatment tank at high volumetric efficiency. CONSTITUTION:This method for immobilizing microbes is to use a fibrous mass as a carrier in biological drainage treatment using microbes. The microbes penetrate into the interior of the fiber and become entrapped with the fiber to be immobilized. Therefore, a microbial mass once formed does not collapse easily compared to the case with the self-agglomeration of microbes.
