PURPOSE:To make the thickness of a webbing in a beltlike form retaining state as thin as possible and abridge the folding process of the webbing and at the same time reduce the use amount of a base cloth and in addition expand surely the webbing at the time of emergency. CONSTITUTION:A shoulder belt 2 is formed with a tubular webbing 15; a tube 16 which is inserted into the webbing 15 and consists of, for example, an elastic material such as urethane rubber or silicon rubber that can be formed comparatively thin and moreover has a heat-resisting quality and at the same time has comparatively large strength; and a cover 17 which covers the webbing 15 and consists of, for example, resin such as polyester. The webbing 15 is formed out of woven cloth that is woven into a tubular shape by flat knitting. By using this woven cloth, the webbing 15 extends large in a lateral direction, but hardly extends lengthwise. |
