PURPOSE:To prepare a reversible thermal recording material which keeps a stable transparent state even though heating temperature fluctuates by a method wherein a recording material layer which blends a specific organic low molecular compound in a high molecular resin parent material is provided onto a base material sheet. CONSTITUTION:A card is prepared by laminating a reflective layer 2, a recording material layer 3, a protective layer 4, and a printing layer 5 for forming a visible recording display window 6 on a front surface of a synthetic resin base material 1 and by laminating a magnetic recording layer 7, and a protective layer 8 on a rear surface of the base material 1. The recording material layer 3 is formed by dissolving an organic low molecular compound consisting of at least one kind of 12C or more higher fatty acid alkyl ester and at least one kind of 12C or more aliphatic saturated dicarboxylic acid in an organic solvent and by applying it onto the reflective layer 2 to be dried. The reflective layer 2 makes an image formed on the recording material layer 3 easy to observe, and vapor deposition layers of Al, Sn, etc., are preferable. The obtained card is used as a prepaid card. |
