摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To mitigate a shock at starting and improve volumetric efficiency by introducing refrigerant gas into compression chambers through suction passages of rotary valves, forming the slidably contacting circumferential faces of the valves into taper shape, and applying gas pressure on the large diameter end part side and spring force on the small diameter end part side. CONSTITUTION:The suction passages 29, 30 of rotary valves 27, 28 are comminicated to compression chambers Pa, Pb in order accompanying rotation of the valves. At this time, higher pressure of refrigerant gas than that of the small diameter end parts 27b, 28b is applied on the large diameter end parts 27a, 28a of the valves 27, 28, the tapered circumferential faces 27c, 28c of the valves are pressed against the tapered inner circumferential faces of receiving holes 1a, 2a, and pressure leak through the valves 27, 28 is intercepted. When the compressor is stopped, sum of the force of springs 58, 59 and the pressure of refrigerant gas applied on the small diameter end parts 27b, 28b of the valves becomess over the pressure on the large diameter end parts 27a, 28a side. Hereby the taper faces 27c, 28c are separated from the inner face of the receiving holes. Consequently, a part of refrigerant flows out at starting so as to reduce compression reaction.</p>
