<p>PURPOSE:To provide a plastic bottle for containing various kinds of liquid wherein its body is not likely to deform by a change in inner pressure or external pressure such as a grip, slight deformation if it occurs is inconspicuous and the bottle is easy to stably hold. CONSTITUTION:A recess 2 for finger holding having a gradient face bent and recessed from an outer body periphery toward an inner bottom 4 of the recess with appropriate width is formed on a body of a plastic bottle 1, while the bottle body parts on both sides of the recess are expanded and a lower slope 3 makes a steep slope. Its extension line makes a relatively small angle Q1 with respect to the bottle center line, while an upper slope 6 is easy and its center line makes a relatively large angle Q2 with respect to the center line. A lower part of the lower slope 5 is a part of a reinforcing rib 3 as it is, while the reinforcing rib 3 surrounds the bottle body as a recessed rib in a continuous recessed belt with a slight width.</p> |
