PURPOSE: To provide a color photographic material capable of forming an improved color image. CONSTITUTION: This color photographic material comprises a support for holding at least one kind of photographic silver halide emulsion layer and a combination of at least 2 kinds of couplers (A) and (B), and the coupler (A) can form a compound to be washed out from the photographic element at the time of reaction with an oxidized developing agent in photographic processing, and it can release a development inhibitor or a timing group containing the development inhibitor, and the coupler (B) can form a compound not to be washed out at the time of reaction with the oxidized developing agent in the photographic processing and it can release a photographic development inhibitor at one or by retarding its releasing time.
