PURPOSE:To obtain a device capable of providing an image which is more faithful to an original or matches the purpose of a user more by executing a color processing which is optimum for the image by each picture element. CONSTITUTION:In a UCR/masking circuit, coefficient RAM 201 stores plural kinds of arithmetic coefficients corresponding to the characteristic of an input image signal. Then, an arithmetic coefficient corresponding to the input image signal of each picture element is read by the unit of the picture element of the input image signal and outputted to an OR operation part 222, which operates the input image signal based on the arithmetic coefficient to obtain an output image signal. |
