PURPOSE:To give various effects to a musical tone and to obtain a rich timbre which is rich in variation by removing high and low frequency components of cutoff frequency and obtaining a band-pass filter function on the whole. CONSTITUTION:A tone generator 25 consists of a DOC 41, a DWG 43, a 1st DCF (digital controlled filter) 45, a 2nd DCF 47, a DEG 49, a DCA 51, etc. The 1st DCF 45 and 2nd DCF 47 function as plural filters which are connected in series and are a digital filter whose cutoff frequency is controlled by a 2nd CPU as a control means. Both the two DCFs 45 and 47 function as a high-pass filter or low-pass filter by being give the cutoff frequency. For example, when the 1st DCF 45 is set as the high-pass filter and the 2nd DCF 47 is set as the low-pass filter, the two DCFs 45 and 47 function as the band-pass filter. |
