<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a good reproduced picture even in a recorded tape having a curved track at the time of reproducing for a long time, in a VTR in which at least a pilot signal for controlling tracking is recorded. CONSTITUTION:This device is constituted with a curved track detecting block 40 which detects a curved track, a SP head/LP head control block 14 which controls so as to switch reproducing heads by its output, and a SP head/LP head selecting switch 15 which switches reproducing heads by its control, etc. Thereby, the reproduction of a long time mode using the optimum reproducing head in accordance with the curvature of a track is performed and a good reproduced picture can be obtained.</p> |
