PURPOSE: To make the visual field of a depth image large. CONSTITUTION: The number of scanning lines of each image of view is obtained. At such a time, the resolution of a recording medium, the pitch P of a lenticule 58, and the number of views needed to minimize variation between views are used. The visual field can be made large by offsetting a primary visual field 63 against a projection field 61 of the lenticule 58. The offsetting is so performed that an image line comes to under a lenticule 58 adjacent to a lenticule 58 where the image line is projecting as the distance from a center observation distance increases.
