PURPOSE:To perform the contraction and allotment editing of input printing data. CONSTITUTION:A printing data processing apparatus 10 is equipped with an input printing data storage part 1 storing the input printing data 6 corresponding to (n) (n=2K, K: positive integer) first printing papers having the same dimension and an output printing data storage part 4 storing the output printing data corresponding to one second paper having a dimension m (m=1, 2K) times that of the first papers. Further, a contraction processing part 2 contracting the input printing data 6 corresponding to (n) papers to m/n times and an allotment editing part 3 subjecting contracted printing data 7 corresponding to (n) papers to allotment editing as the output printing data 8 are provided. |
