PURPOSE: To make it possible to efficiently and easily regulate the treatment parameter of coating operation by housing a vent pipe and downwardly-facing and upwardly-facing nozzles in an upstanding column and providing the subject apparatus with regulating means for the flow and temperature of the fluid in the apparatus and executing spray coating while particles are suspended in a fluidized bed. CONSTITUTION: The raw material particles packed into the fluidized bed particle coating apparatus having a duel jet and spray devices form the fluidized bed by the air introduced from an air introducing port 32. The particles entering the vent pipe 50 is subjected to jet air injection or coating with the upwardly- facing jet spray nozzle 40 and is risen along the vent pipe 50. The particles are subjected to jet air injection or coating with the downwardly-facing jet spray nozzle by coming into a jet spray tube and is again dropped to an annular region 33 of the upstanding column where additive splashing and drying are induced. The coating of a desired thickness is formed by repeating the above- described operation.
