PURPOSE:To obtain accurate high output corresponding to the acceleration demand of a driver by providing a combined region enlarging means for enlarging a region of traveling by a combined mode according to the acceleration demand quantity detected by a demand quantity detecting means. CONSTITUTION:A hybrid type vehicle is provided with a motor 3 and an engine 4 for generating the driving force of the vehicle, and travels selecting appropriately among a motor mode of traveling only by the motor 3, an engine mode of traveling only by the engine 4, and a combined mode of traveling by the motor 3 in combination with the engine 4 according to the depressed state of an accelerator pedal 8 and the vehicle speed. In this case, the acceleration demand quantity of a driver is detected by a demand quantity detecting means 2 from the depressed state of the accelerator pedal 8. According to the acceleration demand quantity detected by the demand quantity detecting means 22, a region of traveling by the combined mode is enlarged by a combined region enlarging means. |
