PURPOSE:To keep useful bacteria having activity in high concn. over a long period of time and to hold nitrifying and mold smell removing capacity by passing water through a packed bed composed of three-dimensional reticulated granular matter under an aerobic condition to perform the filtering of suspended matter and the nitrification of ammoniacal nitrogen and subsequently performing membrane separation in a bacteria coexisting state. CONSTITUTION:A water purifying treatment apparatus is constituted of an aerobic biological filter tank 1 and a bacteria reaction tank 2 and a fixed filter bed is provided in the aerobic biological filter tank 1 to form a packed bed A composed of a three- dimensional granular filter material and the bacteria reaction tank 2 is filled with activated sludge and an outer pressure type membrane module C having hollow yarn membranes is dipped in the tank 2. When raw water for tap water of rivers or lakes and marshes is supplied to the biological filter tank to be passed through the packed bed A, SS of raw water is physically filtered to effectively advance the biological removal of NH3-N, a mold smell or TOC. Next, biologically filtered water is transferred to the bacteria reaction tank 2 from the bottom of the tank 1 to be biologically treated with activated sludge and subjected to solid-liquid separation in the outer pressure type membrane module C and treated water is discharged out of the system from a treated water outflow pipe 9. |
