PURPOSE:To obtain a cordless telephone set in which a response time to a calling from a line wire telephone set can be shortened, and the consumption of an incorporated battery can be reduced. CONSTITUTION:When the cordless telephone set is not charged, a switch 5 is periodically turned on and off by a microcomputer 2, the supply of a power source to a high frequency transmitter-receiver 1 is intermittently operated, and an intermittent reception is operated. And also, when the cordless telephone set is provided on a charger 7, and always charged, the switch 5 is left in an on-state, a reception validating state can be continuously attained, and the response time can be shortened. |
