<p>PURPOSE:To control the supply of a power source to outside input and output control parts by detecting whether or not outside inputting and outputting devices are connected by the information processor, in the information processor equipped with the outside input and output control parts. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with a processor 3, storage part 4, outside input and output control parts 11-13, power control part constituted of a power source control register 6 which switches the supply of the power source to the outside input and output control parts, and power source switching circuits 8-10, connection information parts 14-16 which detect the state of the connection of the outside inputting and outputting devices, interruption generating circuit 5 which generates an interruption to the processor 3 by detecting the state of the connection, and I/O status register 7 which allows the processor 3 to read the state of the connection.</p> |
