FILE TRANSFER SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To reduce the rate of file read time with respect to whole file transfer processing time by executing look-ahead in spare time at the time of executing sequential file reading. CONSTITUTION:Communication between a device A issuing a file transfer request and a device B12 receiving the file transfer request is executed through a communication control part 14. A request command received in the device B12 is discriminated to be sequential reading or randam reading in a request command processing part 15. When it is judged to be a sequential file reading request, a data block 17 expected to be requested next is pre-read in a file 16 at spare time till a next read request is received after the data block is transferred. Then, it is saved in a look-ahead buffer 18.
