PURPOSE: To obtain a shielded carrying container or a shielded storage container which can be manufactured easily, as well as can satisfy all the safety requirements from the technological and functional view points for a long term. CONSTITUTION: The shielded carrying container and/or a shielded storage container for radioactive object and/or radioactive substance, especially nuclear radioactive fuel elements of reactor, comprises a container casing 1 and outer sheath assemblies 2, 3 for closing the bottom part and the inner space of the container, wherein the container casing is formed as a thick wall of cast iron, especially spherical graphite cast iron, and at least one sheet of the outer sheath assembly is provided with an outer sheath bearing part 4 on the inner space side of the container. The outer sheath bearing part 4 is provided for an annular steel body 5, coupled with the container casing 1 by welding.
