PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive rechargeable secondary battery without generating harmful gas in a charge by using a specific high molecular compound, carbons and manganese dioxide as a positive electrode compound, zinc as a negative electrode and a zinc sulfate aqueous solution as an electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:A zinc sulfate aqueous solution as an electrolyte is interposed between positive and negative electrodes, to use a high molecular compound, carbons and manganese dioxide, shown by the next A group, as a component of positive electrode compound, and further by using zinc as a negative electrode, a secondary battery is obtained. Here is the A group a high molecular compound having a carboxyl group, imino group, cyano group, hydroxyl group, chlorine, sulfur, ether combination or an aromatic group, and further a high molecular compound not having a pai conjugated system (pai conjugated system of conjugating 8 or more double or triple combinations) along a principal chain. In this way, since a positive electrode compound having a plate or film shape can be prepared, an inexpensive secondary battery, having various shapes further with capability of high efficient charge/discharge without generating harmful gas in a charge, is obtained. |
