PURPOSE:To match the chord advance and the rhythm pattern to each other independently of the timing of fill-in or the timing of the start of accompaniment. CONSTITUTION:When a fill-in switch SWb is depressed at a time t3 on the way of a first measure of a normal pattern, fill-in pattern data is set, and sound production of a fill-in pattern is started. This sound production of the fill-in pattern is performed for the remaining part of the first measure. When the fill-in pattern is terminated, heading data of a second measure of the normal pattern is set, and the second measure of the normal pattern is played for the next measure. Thus, automatic performance is continued while maintaining the matching between measures of the normal pattern and those of chord advance. |
