The bearing block (1) contains a baseplate (11) for pref. detachable mounting on a component of a vehicle and at least one bearing frame (12) holding the bearing or pivot axle (3) of the coupling pedal (2). The bearing block can be an injection moulded part of light metal or plastic. The cylinder housing (13) of a cylinder for activating a hydraulic coupling is integrated into the block baseplate. The cylinder chamber (14) is open towards the bearing frame. Stiffening pieces and/or frictionless bearing bushes and/or a cylinder casing are set into the injection moulding. USE/ADVANTAGE - For use in mounting pedals on front or side wall of vehicle. Number of parts required for mfr. of number of vehicle variants is small.
