The extended flat end of the metal or plastics tube (1) has one or more openings (3). Alternatively it may have one or more press-stud parts which fix onto a press stud (4), hook or a pin (11) in the tube neck area or between the thread (6) and neck of the tube. A mushroom-shaped press stud (4) can be injection moulded in one piece with the tube in the dividing plane of the tube neck. The diameter of a punched hole (3) at the end of the tube is in the nominal diameter of the thread (6). Between the thread and tube neck is a snap bead. The tube is bent over 180 deg. in the middle so that the free end fixes onto the neck. USE/ADVANTAGE - No extra outside agency is needed to shorten the tube.
