摘要 PURPOSE:To provide the compsn. for brazing of Al alloy members having excellent brazeability by mixing Al alloy powder having a specific compsn., a thermoplastic binder resin and alcohol or further, metallic powder having a sacrificial anode effect in a specific rate. CONSTITUTION:This compsn. for brazing is prepd. by mixing the resin B of an acrylic system or methacrylic system having 1000 to 100000mol.wt. and the volatility higher than the volatility at which the resin decomposes and carbonizes at the brazing temp. and the 1 to 8C aliphat. alcohol C or further the powder D of the metal, such as Zn or Al-Zn alloy, having the sacrificial anode effect into the fine powder A of Al alloys, such as Al-Si alloy and Al-Si- Mg alloy, having 10 to 200mum sizes in such a manner as to attain A/B=100/0.1 to 100/100, B/C=100/100 to 100/10000 by weight. The compsn. prepd. in such a manner is applied on the surfaces of Al alloy members and after the coating is dried, the Al alloy members are assembled and are heated by interposing a flux, such as KF-AlF3, therebetween at need, by which the Al alloy members are completely brazed.
