PURPOSE:To provide the liquid detergent composition, comprising specific two kinds of potassium salts of phosphoric acid esters, a specified hydroxysulfobetaine and a specific amidobetaine, good in feeling of use and excellent in foaming and stability without damaging the skin and hair. CONSTITUTION:The liquid detergent composition comprises (A) a compound of formula I [R<1> is a 5-132C straight-chain hydrocarbon; each of X<1> and X<2> is potassium of H) and (B) a compound of formula II (R<2> is a 11-15C straight- chain hydrocarbon; each of X<3> and X<4> is X<1>) so as to provide 0.2-1 weight ratio of the components [(A)/(A) +(B)] and 3-60wt.% total amount of the components (A) and (B) and further (C) 0.5-20wt./% compound selected from hydroxysulfobetaine of formula III [R<3> is a 8-18C (un) saturated hydrocarbon; each of R<4> and R<5> is methyl or ethyl] and amidobetaine of formula IV (R<6> is R<3>; R<7> is ethylene or propylene). Furthermore, the components (A) and (B) are obtained by reacting, e.g., the corresponding aliphatic alcohol with a phosphorylation agent such as phosphoric anhydride and then neutralizing the resultant compound with potassium hydroxide. |
