A rotating ring mount for a light weapon on a combat vehicle, especially on a hatch of a tank, having a carriage (4.3) which supports the weapon and is guided on rails (4.1, 4.2) which are curved in the form of a circular ring, via guide rollers (6.1, 6.2). The rails have the form of a partial arc of a circle with a predetermined arc length which is greater than pi and less than 2 pi . The carriage (4.3) has the form of a partial circular ring whose arc length is greater than the difference between the arc length (2 pi ) of the complete circle and the arc length of the rails (4.1, 4.3). <IMAGE>
