<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the occurence of the difference between measured values of blood pressure, by making the air capacity of a blood vessel-occluding bag uniform, by a method wherein the rigidity of a curved sheet approximately in the sectional shape of a letter C is unequally formed in circumferential direction. CONSTITUTION:A curved sheet 3 is formed in the sectional shape of a letter C, of which the thickness is made nearly equal in circumferential direction, i.e., in curved direction, and is made of an article molded out of rigid synthetic resin so as to have rigidity and elasticity. The thickness of the edges of the side ends of the curved sheet 3 is made partially thinner by forming grooves 4 approximately parallel to its axial direction, only at the edges of the circumferential side ends of the curved sheet 3, and thus the rigidity of these parts is made lower than that of other parts in the circumferential direction. Therefore, the rigidity is made small in inverse proportion to bending moment applied to the circumferential direction of the curved sheet 3, and thus the curved sheet 3 is uniformly deformed against circumferential bending. In this way, since the distribution of air can be uniformized when pressure is applied to a blood vessel-occluding bag, the air capacity thereof is made uniform and the difference between measured values of blood pressure can be prevented from occuring.</p> |
