PURPOSE:To detect that a paper sheet is smaller than a designated size before the next paper sheet feeding is started, when such a paper sheet is delivered, by detecting the nonconformity of the paper size depending on whether a size flag is in a set condition or not when a paper sensor detects the passage of the rear end of the paper sheet. CONSTITUTION:When a paper sheet is conveyed and reaches to the position of a paper sensor 4, a detecting signal is output to a CPU 1. The CPU 1 decides the nonconformity of the paper size depending on the detecting signal from the paper sensor 4. In the RAM 3, a size flag to be the standard for deciding the nonconformity of the paper size is provided, and when the size flag is yet in a set condition at the time T when the rear end of the paper sheet passes, and the paper sensor 4 is turned OFF from ON, it is decided that a paper sheet smaller than a designated size is delivered, and when the paper sensor 4 is ON even though the time T+DELTAT has passed, it is decided that a paper sheet larger than the designated size is delivered. |
