The reel is formed after preceding cut-off of existing, vertical drain pipe (4), with the pot (1) including a funnel-shaped top (10) with protruding flange (8), and a straight pipe (11) an continuation of the funnel. The straight pipe passes through the cut-off drain pipe and is longer than the latter. The lower end of the straight pipe has a thread (12) for a unit (13), stressed against the drain pipe cut face (C). A stop (9) on the flange, funnel, and/or the straight pipe compresses an annular seal (7) against the drainage pot by tightening the unit. USE/ADVANTAGE - Drainage pot for sealing conventional gullies gives increased sealing efficiency and versatile applicability in free space, or in a bathroom. |
