<p>PURPOSE:To shorten tact time at the time of hardening crank shafts. CONSTITUTION:The transfer of the unhardened crank shafts W carried into a hardening standby station 3 to a pin hardening station 4, the movement of the crank shafts W with the hardened pins existing in the pin hardening station 4 to a journal hardening station 5 and the movement of the crank shafts W with the hardened journals existing in the journal hardening station 5 to an ejection station 6 are simultaneously executed and the hardening in the pin hardening station 4 and the journal hardening station 5 is simultaneously executed in the high-frequency hardening method for the crank shafts. The hardened crank shafts W moved to the ejection station 6 are ejected and the unhardened crank shafts W are carried from the preceeding stage of the hardening standby station 3 into the hardening standby station 3.</p> |
