<p>PURPOSE:To provide a deodorant made of cheap material and a method for activating the deodorant wherein an initial deodorizing rate can be accelerated, whereby deodorizing effect can be obtained in a short time. CONSTITUTION:One deodorant contains a hardened matter of calcium chloride system containing lime, alumina, silica and calcium chloride. The other deodorant contains a hardened matter of gypsum system containing line, alumina, silica and gypsum. The mothod of activating the deodorant comprises treating this deodorant with a gas containing sulfurous acid gas and subsequently treating with ammonia.</p> |
