1,079,970. Electric motors; core constructions. SIEMENS SCHUCKERTWERKE A.G. Nov. 9, 1965 [Nov. 25, 1964], No. 47571/65. Heading H2A. A synchronous motor has a rotor which comprises two laminated portions spaced apart axially of the machine and a barium ferrite portion permanently magnetized axially of the machine and disposed between the laminated rotor portions, and a stator which has two armature portions associated with respective ones of the laminated portions, associated stator and rotor portions having different numbers of teeth. As shown, the rotor consists of two laminated sheet assemblies 2, 3, with an axially magnetized ring 4 of barium ferrite disposed between them, mounted on a non-magnetic shaft 1. The stator consists of two armature portions 5, 6 having a common winding 7. The two rotor assemblies 2, 3 are angularly offset from one another by one half tooth pitch. |
