PURPOSE:To obtain a high resolution three-dimensional tomographic image by converting X-ray images in respective azimuths into visible images through a fluorescent plate having a CsI film of columnar microcrystal while rotating an object, detecting the visible images through imaging elements, and subjecting data thus obtained to reverse projection processing through a computor. CONSTITUTION:X-ray is projected onto an object mounted on a rotary stage and a transmission image thereof is converted through a columnar microcrystal CsI fluorescent film into a visible image which is subsequently projected through a lens and a prism onto a CCD while being enlarged. The CCD is cooled in order to suppress thermal noise. Signals detected through the CCD are numerically encoded and displayed while furthermore deliverred to a computor. Upon finish of measurement in one direction, the rotary stage is rotated slightly and similar measurement is repeated. Upon acquisition of measurement data in all azimuths, the data is subjected to reverse projection processing through a computor thus reconfiguring a three-dimensional tomographic image which is then displayed. |
