PURPOSE: To enable a movable mirror of a Michelson interferometer to move in parallel with high precision without requiring any lubricant. CONSTITUTION: This device is equipped with a base board 14, a frame 16 which is fixed to the base board 14 and surrounds one area 19, a movable body 21 which is arranged in the area 19, and connecting elements 24 to 27 which support the movable body 21 on the frame 16. The connecting elements 24-27 are able to curve and unable to twist, and contained in a predetermined plane, and stop the movable body 21 from having angular motion on any of mutually orthogonal axis. The respective connecting elements 24 to 27 guide the movement of the movable body 21 along a track perpendicular to the specific plane containing a series of planes which are arrayed almost in parallel. |
