PURPOSE:To carry out density correction of a toner image without changing luminosity of an exposure lamp by varying rotating speed of a motor in accordance with toner concn. CONSTITUTION:To adjust the amount of light radiated by an exposure lamp 10 on a sensitized body drum 13, rotating speed of the sensitized body drum 13 is varied by changing rotation of a motor. That is, when the rotating speed of the sensitized body drum 13 is increased, the amount of light per unit time radiated on the sensitized body drum 13 is decreased and the charged amount on the surface of the sensitized body drum 13 is not decreased very much, and accordingly, the toner adhesion amount to the sensitized body drum 13 becomes larger than usual and density of a toner image becomes higher. Conversely, when the rotating speed of the sensitized body drum 13 is decreased, the amount of light per unit time radiated on the sensitized body drum 13 is increased and the charged amount on the surface of the sensitized body drum 13 is decreased in proportion to the amount of light, and accordingly, the toner adhesion amount to the sensitized body drum 13 becomes smaller than usual and the density of the toner image becomes lower. |
