PURPOSE:To provide a stock control system which can automate the maintenance of the ordering point to attain the accurate ordering with the reduced manhour and to reduce the stock of defective commodities and the loss of the commodities and is especially suited for the stock control of such commodities that have the large seasonal fluctuation in demand. CONSTITUTION:An input means 1 inputs the order reception information on the commodities and stores these information in a order reception file 6. An updating means 2 calculates the ordering points based on a shipment result file 7 and sets these ordering points to stock master file 8. An updating means 3 reads the file 6 to perform the shipment processing and to update the stock. An updating means 4 updates the ordering/stock information, and an output means 5 performs the ordering processing. Thus, the stock of defective commodities can be reduce and the maintenance manhour of the ordering point can be extremely reduced. |
