PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure the net-point area ratio in net-point printing in books, newspaper and the like accurately. CONSTITUTION:The weight of ink, which is used for full printing on material to be printed, is obtained with a measuring part 12. The weight of ink, which is used for net-point printing on the same area as the area of the full-printing based on an arbitrary net-point area ratio for object to be measured, is also obtained with the measuring part 12. For example, the weights of a printing apparatus (or an ink ribbon cartridge) before and after the printing are measured. An operation controlling part 10 operates and obtains the net-point area ratio based on the measured value obtained with the measuring part 12. |
