Constant reaction safety belt reel

The safety belt (17) is reeled on one reel (11) on whose shaft is fitted a conical roller (12) with a spiral groove (15). The spiral groove is in the opposite direction to the reeling of the belt. A second conical roller (14) with opposing slope is mounted parallel to the other roller and is linked to same by a cable wound round both rollers. A spring (16) is set inside the second roller.The second roller is of a larger dia. than the first, leaving more room for a large spring. The spring is wound spirally around the roller mounting shaft. It is attached to the roller with one end and to the shaft with the other end. The roller is loosely mounted on the shaft.
