The multi-effect bullet for light fire-arms has a truncated ogival shape and has a core of soft metal material covered, except at the nose, by a shell made of brass rich in copper, which shell is closed by the base and terminated by an edge which delimits a slight concavity of the lead core in the form of a spherical cap whose curve varies according to the calibre of the bullet. The disclosed bullet is characterized in that its effect depends on the nature of the target to which it impinges, traversing obstacles whose resistance may correspond to the resistance of a protection element, and expanding when impinging in a material behaving in a similar way as the human body, said characteristics confering to the bullet qualities which make it appropriate to be used for different purposes, such qualities being a good precision and perforation of armorings and very high detention power. |
