The outrigger (20) comprises retractable articulated arms (22, 26) coupled at one end to the main plough beam (12) on vertical axles (28, 54). A coupling (48) is attached to the end of the outrigger for the purpose of connecting up auxiliary implements (24). This coupling can be retracted to a position at the end of the plough beam, when the auxiliary is not in use. The centre of gravity for the combined plough and auxiliary is close to the rotary axis (50) of the plough beam. An adjuster (40) allows the coupling to be lodged in any position between the working position and the end position. ADVANTAGE - Allows quite heavy and wide auxiliary implements to be trailed without the necessity for uncoupling for road transportation.
